Not only is the glass half empty, but its contents will only stay but a moment before continuing on once more through the water cycle leaving the glass to inevitably shatter into pieces, never to be whole again.
Say what you may, but that is science. It's a science rooted in the decay of sin. Things, people, thoughts, plans, life—it all goes from order to disorder, and I feel like I can do nothing to stop it.

ReplyDeleteAs an optimist I feel like I have to comment but I don't really know what to say, except that, despite the downwardness, there's still so much in life to giggle over!
Also just to add that - as far as "people" are concerned in the "all goes from order to disorder" - for Christians, it's just this temporary little body going downhill, the real part of us is (hopefully) getting better and better!

ReplyDeleteYou know, I can't quite remember why I wrote this, but I will say that, for the most part, my perspective has not changed. What has changed is my feelings in regards to this idea. Yes, the world is fallen and bad things will happen. However, God is slowly teaching me that He is in control and He has a plan. He can use that which is shattered for His glory.
